Frequently asked questions
If your question is not here, please get in touch.
Do I need two phones?
Yes. One stays at home and provides the connection; the other is the device you carry. The one at home can be an old phone you no longer use.
What if the phone at home loses power?
It starts again on its own when power comes back, without anyone unlocking it. While it is off you cannot connect.
How fast is it?
As fast as your home line can upload. That is the limit, and no VPN service can change it.
Can my family use it?
Yes. One subscription covers up to 5 devices, and you can add more one at a time.
Can I let a friend use my home line?
No. Only devices you have paired yourself can connect, and the terms do not allow giving access to other people. Your line is never used to carry anyone else's traffic either.
Do you keep logs of what I do?
No. We run no VPN servers, so your traffic never reaches us. See the privacy policy for what the signalling service does hold.
Does it work on iPhone?
Not yet. Both devices need to be Android for now.
Will it work on any mobile network?
Usually, but not always. Some networks prevent two devices from connecting directly. The app tells you when that is the reason.
What happens when my subscription ends?
You stop being able to connect. Your pairing and your devices are not deleted, so you can pick up where you left off if you subscribe again.
